han_nah:
Hello!
Sep 8 2011, 12:03 PM
DelightfulTacky:
How's everyone liking the e-conference so far?
Sep 8 2011, 12:03 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
SO, fabulous.I'm learning a lot, loving the idea of branding & cohesive design. I've been working away on my bloggy.
Sep 8 2011, 12:04 PM
danica_nicole:
Love it! It's been great and really informative.
Sep 8 2011, 12:04 PM
han_nah:
I'm enjoying it and learning quite a bit.
Sep 8 2011, 12:04 PM
MerryAlana:
I'm learning a lot, it's giving me some really good ideas about design and where I want to takemy blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:05 PM
sparkleisacolor:
I love it! It's just what I needed to get re-motivated with my blog.Plus, I'm learning a ton. Lots of awesome resources
Sep 8 2011, 12:05 PM
MerryAlana:
It's helping me get re-motivated too.. I have so many ideas now.
Sep 8 2011, 12:06 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Yeah, at times we need something to re-spark our passion for blogging.
Sep 8 2011, 12:06 PM
sparkleisacolor:
I like that you guys timed it with Fashion Week, so much good stuff between the two
Sep 8 2011, 12:07 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
Agreed, I loved watching the IFB streams yesterday ...SO much information, it's crazy. Crazy good, of course.
Sep 8 2011, 12:07 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Yeah, we started doing INDIE because we had both been to NYFW conferences and they were fun,but we wanted to make an option for people who couldn't travel to NYC or who were just starting their blog and didn't really want to make that huge of a commitment yet.
Sep 8 2011, 12:08 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
I love that you girls did that. I'm hoping to go next September but it's nice to get to know a bit more of the girls/blogging world before going.
Sep 8 2011, 12:08 PM
Rebecca Ridlington:
Exactly. It is also nice to be able to come back and look at resources as a reference tool too
Sep 8 2011, 12:09 PM
sparkleisacolor:
Yeah it's definitely perfect for that. Agreed, Veronika. I'd love to go next year and this is a great kind of baby step towards it, haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:09 PM
MerryAlana:
It is really nice to have the opportunity to participate in a way, as I can't afford to travel/am not quite ready for that yet. (maybe next year too!?)
Sep 8 2011, 12:09 PM
DelightfulTacky:
NYFW is fun for meeting people in person because everyone is all together going to conferences
Sep 8 2011, 12:09 PM
DelightfulTacky:
but it is a huge cost, especially if you live far away!
Sep 8 2011, 12:10 PM
sparkleisacolor:
I feel like I'd be nervous to be around other bloggers who are way more established than I am
Sep 8 2011, 12:10 PM
prettybuggin:
I think that's how you would learn more and get more of an identity
Sep 8 2011, 12:10 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Haha, everyone is really nice at blogger conferences
Sep 8 2011, 12:10 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
It sounds like it would be so much fun! And I too would be a bit nervous, I must admit, but from the bloggers I have met everyone seems really friendly!
Sep 8 2011, 12:11 PM
DelightfulTacky:
And it's cool to see bloggers you like online in real life!
Sep 8 2011, 12:11 PM
DelightfulTacky:
I never encountered anyone mean or rude at conferences
Sep 8 2011, 12:11 PM
MerryAlana:
That's part of why I like blogging, everyone is really nice and you get to communicate with people you never would have met otherwise
Sep 8 2011, 12:11 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
Yes, it must be so fun, to meet the girls in real life &haha, so trippy.
Sep 8 2011, 12:12 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Yeah, Tieka and I are such good friends and we only met because of blogging! Crazy!
Sep 8 2011, 12:12 PM
sparkleisacolor:
Yeah I would love to meet people in real life! I feel like I'd get star struck like a nerd haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:12 PM
KristinaMGulino:
I've met @muchloveilly online and we are hitting it off great. Very cool who you can connect with.
Sep 8 2011, 12:13 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Some people have said they saw me at a conference or on the street but were too nervous to come say hi, but that's so silly!
Sep 8 2011, 12:14 PM
DelightfulTacky:
I wish that they had come and said hi so I could've met them IRL!
Sep 8 2011, 12:15 PM
KristinaMGulino:
My blog is only 2 months old and has come a LONG way.I'm glad we have this time to grow our own sites. It really helps. I'm sure we could all use the tips! Cause seriously, it took me forever to even figure out what a stinkin' BUTTON was. Lame.
Sep 8 2011, 12:15 PM
sparkleisacolor:
I think it's an awkward situation, because you feel like you know someone so well from reading their blog, but then remember you're still basically strangers haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:16 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
It's weird how much we can all know about one another without actually having met. But I'm so inspired by the blogging community.
Sep 8 2011, 12:17 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Yeah, you basically read about someone's life on a daily basis but you've never met them in person
Sep 8 2011, 12:17 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
I love hearing about other girls lives with similar interests, it's been really inspirational. And of course there are the clothes too!!
Sep 8 2011, 12:17 PM
sparkleisacolor:
Agreed, I'll read so many blogs and wish I knew these people IRL, because they are so awesome
Sep 8 2011, 12:17 PM
DelightfulTacky:
But I suppose people meet online and get married sometimes,so it's not totally crazy!
Sep 8 2011, 12:18 PM
KristinaMGulino:
But one thing I haven't heard discussed is privacy. Is that anyone else's concern? Like, sharing pics of your house, telling people where you live? I mean, we're all attractive gals...
Sep 8 2011, 12:18 PM
KristinaMGulino:
Maybe we should all pretend we're celebrities.
Sep 8 2011, 12:19 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
I've definitley thought about the creeper aspect. And I've received one rather unpleasant email, from a guy. Sheesh!
Sep 8 2011, 12:19 PM
DelightfulTacky:
I had a dream some crazy stalker was after me once
Sep 8 2011, 12:19 PM
KristinaMGulino:
I only bring it up bc I have some men following me on Twitter.
Sep 8 2011, 12:19 PM
DelightfulTacky:
I don't share my address or even let people know my last name
Sep 8 2011, 12:19 PM
KristinaMGulino:
And I don't know who they are, so I blocked them.
Sep 8 2011, 12:20 PM
Rebecca Ridlington:
A general rule I try to follow is if there are street signs or numbers I blur them out
Sep 8 2011, 12:20 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Yeah, I've had creepers add me as a contact on flickr, like dudes with naked photos and stuff. So nasty
Sep 8 2011, 12:20 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny:
I try not to share too much of where I live or my last name on the blog.
Sep 8 2011, 12:20 PM
sparkleisacolor:
Yeah I wouldn't give out my address, and I'd avoid anything too telling about yourself
Sep 8 2011, 12:20 PM
DelightfulTacky:
I've even done that w/my license plate
Sep 8 2011, 12:20 PM
DelightfulTacky:
yeah, I don't know what it is about flickr
Sep 8 2011, 12:20 PM
Jennie Bottone:
One of my favorite bloggers had someone steal her pictures and post them as their own
Sep 8 2011, 12:21 PM
danica_nicole:
Lol I'm glad I don't use flickr then
Sep 8 2011, 12:21 PM
Jennie Bottone:
i'm not really sure of the details
Sep 8 2011, 12:21 PM
KristinaMGulino:
hw assignment #1 -redo the About Me section... haha.
Sep 8 2011, 12:21 PM
DelightfulTacky:
haha, maybe I'll do a post on privacy. I hadn't thought of that before, but it's a good topic!
Sep 8 2011, 12:21 PM
DelightfulTacky:
yeah, someone has stolen my photos and pretended to be me as well.
Sep 8 2011, 12:21 PM
KristinaMGulino:
I just think...there are so many of us (esp fashion bloggers)who post CUTE pics. And anyone can follow you. Eek, ok no more.
Sep 8 2011, 12:22 PM
sparkleisacolor:
I think it's maybe not so bad for people who don't live in big cities or common places. Like if I post a picture of my street, no one will know where I am haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:22 PM
DelightfulTacky:
I mean, you can watermark your photos to kind of prevent that, but I hate watermarked photos and I figure they can always photoshop it out
Sep 8 2011, 12:23 PM
Rebecca Ridlington:
I hate the look of watermarked photos, but I understand why people do it. I wish there was another option though, for sure
Sep 8 2011, 12:23 PM
DelightfulTacky:
Yeah, I didn't worry so much when I lived in Alaska, but in WA there are more people who read blogs
Sep 8 2011, 12:23 PM
Mackenzie Burger:
hey everyone, I see we are talking about privacy?
Sep 8 2011, 12:23 PM
MerryAlana:
I have kind of the opposite problem, I work in a very small town and I have to keep my blog from the people around me... a different sort of privacy issue. I work as a reporter at the local paper so I need people to take me seriously and a lot of people who find out about my blog tend to think it's silly if they don't understand.
Sep 8 2011, 12:24 PM
MerryAlana:
or maybe not opposite...different problem
Sep 8 2011, 12:24 PM
KristinaMGulino: @DelightTacky, how about a post on how to best write your Bio? I feel like that's your resume, but also your personal space to express yourself without giving too much away. This chick ain't free!
Sep 8 2011, 12:24 PM
DelightfulTacky: I know some bloggers who are school teachers and keep their students from finding out about their blogs
Sep 8 2011, 12:24 PM
MerryAlana: I created a separate Twitter from my one I use for local area stuff because there's news people on there who follow me too.
Sep 8 2011, 12:24 PM
DelightfulTacky: I don't let people know my birthday either, haha!
Sep 8 2011, 12:25 PM
Mackenzie Burger: I've googled myself and somehow my blog doesn't show up for a few pages, thankfully
Sep 8 2011, 12:25 PM
sparkleisacolor: One thing I wish is that I hadn't shared my blog with my family. They don't quite get it and it's so strange when they talk about it haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:25 PM
DelightfulTacky: My name is pretty common anyway so even if people did know my last name it'd be hard to find me
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
MerryAlana: I haven't told my family either
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
DelightfulTacky: Haha, my family loves my blog. It's funny
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
Jennie Bottone: I'm the opposite my family loves my blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
Jennie Bottone: i think they are the only ones who read it lol
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
KristinaMGulino: I got off Facebook, so it's the next best thing. Awww @JennieBottone
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
DelightfulTacky: especially since I don't live in AK anymore it's cool for them to see my life
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
sparkleisacolor: Haha my dad keeps posting links to it on his facebook. It's so embarassing
Sep 8 2011, 12:26 PM
Rebecca Ridlington: I've gotta sign out - my work break is over - some great thoughts though ladies!
Sep 8 2011, 12:27 PM
Mackenzie Burger: My mom and my old boss would always hint at reading it but never admit to it!
Sep 8 2011, 12:27 PM
DelightfulTacky: I sometimes wonder if people from high school or ex-boyfriends have found my blog, haha!
Sep 8 2011, 12:28 PM
KristinaMGulino: It's like a sneak-peek of your 10 year reunion.
Sep 8 2011, 12:28 PM
sparkleisacolor: My mom's first reaction was thinking I was so vain for posting pics of myself on the internet, then she started jumping in my photo shoots and trying to out-do my posing haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:29 PM
MerryAlana: I worry because my dad is very conservative/protective and he would probably do something like demand i take it down
Sep 8 2011, 12:29 PM
MerryAlana: not that he can demand i do things anymore
Sep 8 2011, 12:29 PM
MerryAlana: but that's the sort of reaction he would have i'm sure
Sep 8 2011, 12:29 PM
sparkleisacolor: I feel like the internet is still kind of confusing for our parent's generation, esp if they don't use it much themselves
Sep 8 2011, 12:29 PM
DelightfulTacky: I think people of that generation sometimes have a hard time understanding how EVERYONE is online now... haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:30 PM
KristinaMGulino: Thankfully, my parents aren't online at all.
Sep 8 2011, 12:30 PM
Mackenzie Burger: It's nice since I live across the country from my family and this way they can still keep tabs on my since I usually talk about differnt thing on the blog than on the phone to them
Sep 8 2011, 12:30 PM
sparkleisacolor: They get all "Someone is going to steal your life!"
Sep 8 2011, 12:30 PM
danica_nicole: Yeah, my parent's are fine with it though. My mom even has an etsy shop! haha.
Sep 8 2011, 12:30 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny: My parents love the blog, both work in marketing/pr & totally get it.
Sep 8 2011, 12:30 PM
DelightfulTacky: I figure if someone is going to pretend they are me, that's pretty sad that they don't like themselves so much they have to pretend being someone else.
Sep 8 2011, 12:31 PM
DelightfulTacky: There's definitely a range of parental reaction, that's for sure
Sep 8 2011, 12:31 PM
DelightfulTacky: I think my grandparents know about my blog too, haha!
Sep 8 2011, 12:31 PM
sparkleisacolor: My grandmother loves it! Strangely I think she's the only one who "gets" it
Sep 8 2011, 12:32 PM
Diana Sofonea: My dad was kind of furious when I told them about my blog. But I think my mom likes it. She sent me an email with her thoughts on every single outfit I've posted at that time!
Sep 8 2011, 12:32 PM
KristinaMGulino: Well it's crazy when you said your blog is 'a corner of the internet" because once I found out about all these amazing blogs, I thought, "What the HECK have I been doing these past few years?!
Sep 8 2011, 12:33 PM
Mackenzie Burger: I wish I wold have gotten involved sooner, it's so much fun.
Sep 8 2011, 12:33 PM
DelightfulTacky: I felt like I came in late to the whole blogging thing and I started over 3 years ago!
Sep 8 2011, 12:33 PM
MerryAlana: I was reading fashion blogs for about two-three years before I started mine, I was too shy to do it and now I wish Ihad done it sooner!
Sep 8 2011, 12:33 PM
Jennie Bottone: Are most people here style/fashion bloggers?
Sep 8 2011, 12:33 PM
Mackenzie Burger: I had been lurking/admiring for over a year before I started commenting, and eventually starting my own blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:33 PM
sparkleisacolor: Me too, I definitely wish I had gotten into the whole online/web design thing too
Sep 8 2011, 12:33 PM
MerryAlana: I do personal style mostly
Sep 8 2011, 12:34 PM
han_nah: I am personal style as well!
Sep 8 2011, 12:34 PM
sparkleisacolor: I've started leaning more towards a general lifestyle kind of blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:34 PM
Jennie Bottone: yeah i think mine is more lifestyle
Sep 8 2011, 12:34 PM
DelightfulTacky: I ran across style blogs randomly one day and saw rebecca (the clothes horse) and the next day I decided to start a blog. I thought it was so cool and so fun!
Sep 8 2011, 12:34 PM
sparkleisacolor: Yours was one of the first ones I started reading Elizabeth, your hair sucked me in haha
Sep 8 2011, 12:35 PM
DelightfulTacky: It's so important to balance blogging w/ real life
Sep 8 2011, 12:35 PM
KristinaMGulino: My job is boring though and I do NOTHING. So my blog is my work...that I do for free. I guess thats ok for now
Sep 8 2011, 12:35 PM
DelightfulTacky: I think some people get obsessed with networking and getting more followers and more traffic/pageviews... it gets impossible to keep up w/ it all
Sep 8 2011, 12:35 PM
Jennie Bottone: yeah thats my hardest problem, i can't update constantly cuz i work full time plus freelance
Sep 8 2011, 12:35 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny: I'm definitley trying to find the balance, especially now that I've started working with sponsors and such.
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
KristinaMGulino: You all can schedule posts! Write them, and they can auto-post later
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
DelightfulTacky: When I lived in Alaska I worked 10 hour days AND blogged full time. It was a hard balance to keep, but I managed.
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
MerryAlana: I work full time sometimes up to 60 hours a week, so it's hard to find the time to blog sometimes.. or even to schedule posts, I need to work on my organization.
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
Mackenzie Burger: At first I was so happy just to get any followers!
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
Diana Sofonea: My problem is taking outfit pictures. Still can't get used to to posing in front of a tripod.
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
danica_nicole: It's been nice for me since I don't have a job yet. It gives me some kind of schedule in a way.
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
DelightfulTacky: @kristina once I learned about scheduling, I loved it!
Sep 8 2011, 12:36 PM
sparkleisacolor: I've had trouble finding the balance too. It was either feeling pressured to post constantly, or letting it go weeks without it. I just took a breather and feel ready to re-vamp the whole blog/life thing
Sep 8 2011, 12:37 PM
KristinaMGulino: @Delight it's the best. It's like your blog works on it's own.
Sep 8 2011, 12:37 PM
DelightfulTacky: I try to post every day,but if I miss a day or two its no big deal.I try to take sundays off too.
Sep 8 2011, 12:37 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny: Elizabeth/girls, do you have any tips for handling comments, I love commenting back! But often get around 80 per post. Any tips on finding the balance?!
Sep 8 2011, 12:37 PM
MerryAlana: @Diana - I have trouble with the outfit pictures too.. need to get a tripod because my boyfriend is pretty unwilling to take photos and when he does they are out of focus. I envy those bloggers with bf photographers
Sep 8 2011, 12:37 PM
sparkleisacolor: Agreed, @Diana,taking outfit pics can be tough
Sep 8 2011, 12:37 PM
Diana Sofonea: @sparkeisacolor, me too! Haven't posted since April. Now I'm sooo ready to start all over
Sep 8 2011, 12:37 PM
Mackenzie Burger: I really think the quality of followers is more important thatn the quantity. I've made some blogging friends and thats the best part.
Sep 8 2011, 12:38 PM
DelightfulTacky: I used to comment back about 2 years ago, but it's just impossible to keep up with commenting back and producing good content
Sep 8 2011, 12:38 PM
sparkleisacolor: @Diana Same here basically! I took a summer vacation
Sep 8 2011, 12:38 PM
DelightfulTacky: I actually changed my commenting system so I could reply directly to comments so it was easier.
Sep 8 2011, 12:38 PM
sparkleisacolor: Yeah I need to install something that lets me reply to individual comments
Sep 8 2011, 12:38 PM
KristinaMGulino: People love feeling like they are apart of your community, and you will have the chance to build relationships with them.
Sep 8 2011, 12:39 PM
MerryAlana: I use disqus, and can reply from my phone via email which is useful (not that I get that many comments..)
Sep 8 2011, 12:39 PM
KristinaMGulino: I admit I feel ignored by a lot of "big time" bloggers.
Sep 8 2011, 12:39 PM
Mackenzie Burger: for sure. If someone takes the time to read and comment on my blog I want to give them my time too!
Sep 8 2011, 12:39 PM
MerryAlana: @Kristina - me neither! I follow a lot of smaller bloggers who I feel I can connect with
Sep 8 2011, 12:40 PM
Mackenzie Burger: But then again my blog is fairly small so I'm able to do that.
Sep 8 2011, 12:40 PM
DelightfulTacky: I know rebecca from the clothes horse used to comment on my blog all the time but now she doesn't,but I totally understand now why that's kind of impossible to maintain
Sep 8 2011, 12:40 PM
KristinaMGulino: @MerryAlana yea. Or the larger blogs that actually give you attention. It's like a business. These are the people you are writing for.
Sep 8 2011, 12:40 PM
sparkleisacolor: Yeah, it's tough because you know they can't always comment back, but then you feel like such a little fish in a big pond
Sep 8 2011, 12:40 PM
KristinaMGulino: I use Wordpress, and it sends me an email for each individual comment. Maybe that's easier?
Sep 8 2011, 12:40 PM
DelightfulTacky: That's why I like using twitter. W/ twitter it's much easier for me to respond to people
Sep 8 2011, 12:41 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny: It is hard to maintain. I used to comment on every single one, but it just got harder &harder. It became my new full time job.Yay, for twitter.
Sep 8 2011, 12:41 PM
Mackenzie Burger: Then theres the other side of it, when you get people commenting on your blog just so you will comment on theirs. it's complicated
Sep 8 2011, 12:41 PM
sparkleisacolor: Yeah, I've felt like I've been able to connect with people a lot better since getting active on Twitter
Sep 8 2011, 12:41 PM
KristinaMGulino: But Twitter is also a tool to help draw followers to your blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:41 PM
DelightfulTacky: I just don't want to go comment on someone's blog just to "comment back" If I comment, it's because I actually have something to say.
Sep 8 2011, 12:41 PM
Mackenzie Burger: how do you guys feel about linking to your blog in the comments?
Sep 8 2011, 12:42 PM
DelightfulTacky: @mackenzie i think as long as it's not the only thing in your comment
Sep 8 2011, 12:42 PM
DelightfulTacky: or as long as your comment isn't something like "cool" and then your url
Sep 8 2011, 12:42 PM
sparkleisacolor: I try not to every time, unless it's the first comment I've made on someone's blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:42 PM
KristinaMGulino: I heard that's a no-no,most forms will ask for your URL anyways. But don't leave it IN the comment, it can be spam both officially or considered by the blogger.
Sep 8 2011, 12:42 PM
DelightfulTacky: it's pretty obvious when people are using commenting JUST to get you to click over to their blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:43 PM
sparkleisacolor: And I always make sure I have something to say, and I don't just comment for commenting's sake
Sep 8 2011, 12:43 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny: or the follow me and I'll follow you right back. One word?! Bye, bye!
Sep 8 2011, 12:43 PM
sparkleisacolor: Oh my god, yes, those are so annoying!
Sep 8 2011, 12:43 PM
Jennie Bottone: I try to only comment if I want to contribute or let the blogger know something
Sep 8 2011, 12:43 PM
DelightfulTacky: yeah, I got one of those the other day *eyeroll*
Sep 8 2011, 12:44 PM
sparkleisacolor: Will there be any more chat sessions during the conference?
Sep 8 2011, 12:44 PM
DelightfulTacky: Yeah, I'm pretty sure Tieka is going to do one and I might do another.
Sep 8 2011, 12:45 PM
Jennie Bottone: I've never attended an EConference
Sep 8 2011, 12:45 PM
sparkleisacolor: Me too, and I have to go soon but I am really enjoying this
Sep 8 2011, 12:45 PM
KristinaMGulino: I've written down everyone's names in here. I'll be sure to say hi later!
Sep 8 2011, 12:45 PM
Mackenzie Burger: Is there going to be some kind of list so we can check out other peoples blogs from the conference?
Sep 8 2011, 12:46 PM
DelightfulTacky: Yeah, i was actually thinking of creating a page just for that!
Sep 8 2011, 12:46 PM
han_nah: That would be awesome.

Jennie Bottone: that and like a resource guide for later

Jennie Bottone: @DelightfulTacky are both you and Tieka at the real conference?
Sep 8 2011, 12:47 PM
DelightfulTacky: Nope. Tieka is at NYFW but I'm here in Tacoma

Mackenzie Burger: does anyone here have any experience with guest blogging? I think I'd like to feature some other bloggers but am not sure how to go about doing it
Sep 8 2011, 12:48 PM
sparkleisacolor: Oh, hey! Congrats on the engagement @DelightfullyTacky

Veronika Habal-Novotny: I find just sending a warm & sincere email does the trick, oh, and giving notice helps too.
Sep 8 2011, 12:49 PM
DelightfulTacky: I've guest blogged before. Usually you just email the person and ask them if they want to guest blog
Sep 8 2011, 12:49 PM
KristinaMGulino: @Mackenzie, are you talking about YOU writing the post about them? Or having them write a post for you?
Sep 8 2011, 12:49 PM
Veronika Habal-Novotny: I've received the odd 2 days notice, guest post request. Usually hard to fill though.
Sep 8 2011, 12:50 PM
DelightfulTacky: Yeah, if you want someone to guest blog for you, you should for sure give them at least a week's notice
Sep 8 2011, 12:50 PM
sparkleisacolor: I've thought about doing that, but then worry if it's someone who I am an avid follower of and would love to feature, but they don't follow my blog. Would that be weird?
Sep 8 2011, 12:50 PM
DelightfulTacky: I've never had guest bloggers on my blog but I'm going to have some for my wedding/honeymoon
